Frequently Asked Questions
Is Anderman Wealth Partners a fiduciary?
For advisory clients, Anderman Wealth Partners acts as a fiduciary as required under applicable investment adviser regulations. Our planning approach focuses on providing personalized guidance based on each client's goals, circumstances, and long-term objectives. The standard of care applicable to a client relationship may vary depending on the services being provided and the capacity in which those services are offered.
How are your financial advisors compensated?
Anderman Wealth Partners charges a quarterly advisory fee based on the percentage of assets we manage on your behalf. The fee is tiered by common asset ranges to level-set support services and cap compensation in accordance with the value we deliver. Our goal is to provide a level of service for every client that exceeds the percentage fee we charge.
What services can I expect for your fees?
Our advisory clients receive a broad range of strategy, management, financial education, and coaching services. Comprehensive, tax-intelligent financial planning is the heartbeat of our firm, coupled with continuous investment management that supports your goals and risk tolerance. We believe in strategic asset allocation, active monitoring and rebalancing, and quarterly performance meetings. We help clients plan for nearly every aspect of their financial lives—from cash flow and debt management to saving for college, planning for retirement, protecting against unexpected risks, and tax-efficient transfer of your estate.
Who Is avantax by Cetera?
Avantax by Cetera is a community within Cetera Wealth Services, LLC, our broker-dealer—a large, national firm that supports thousands of independent financial advisors like us across the country. They provide the regulatory and custodial infrastructure FINRA requires, including partnering with NFS—owned by Fidelity—to serve as our custodian. Avantax by Cetera also enhances our technology and equips us with broader financial products, expertise, and peer collaboration. You will often see their name on financial documents because they are an important partner in helping Anderman Wealth Partners deliver our best possible service to you.
What type of clients do you serve?
Anderman Wealth Partners specializes in working with successful individuals and families as they prepare for and approach retirement. Most of our clients have $500,000 or more in investible assets and seek to minimize their tax liabilities while maximizing their financial opportunities. We have deep experience working with newly independent women, such as widows and divorcees, who find themselves managing finances on their own for the firm time and want a trustworthy partner to help guide them. We have also worked extensively with physicians, attorneys, and business owners.
What makes Anderman Wealth Partners different from national firms or other independent advisors?
With decades of combined experience ranging from global banks and the New York Stock Exchange to successful, family-run companies, our team has the technical expertise and time-tested business-savvy to provide financial advice across your personal and professional opportunities. Our Founder, Wayne Anderman, holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and MBA. Managing Partner Zach Omanson is a financial advisor and tax accountant. Anderman Wealth Partners delivers the personalized, hands-on service of a small, local firm but with the resources, experience, and credentials of a brand-name wirehouse.
